This couple complemented each other in a silk sherwani and silk lehenga and you can’t miss their photos
Bride Priya Chaudhary looked nothing less than regal on her wedding day as she picked up a pale ivory-gold tulle and silk lehenga for her wedding ceremony. The lehenga, by designer duo Rimple and Harpreet was hand crafted with lotus blossoms, delicate Pichhwai florals, chevrons and geometric patterns derived from sacred geometry and resplendent birds of paradise; rendered using iridescent hand cut metal sequins, pearls, resham zardozi and kasab-dori marodi ka kaam. The lehenga was paired with an embroidered choli and sheer tulle dupattas in hues of ivory and salmon pink.
Her handsome groom, Abhinav Gambhir chose an ivory raw silk sherwani by the same designer duo for the ceremony. The jacket featured a tessellated jaal derived from Mughal inlay work, rendered on the silk base with tonal resham zardozi and marodi ka kaam. It was paired with a vintage embroidered dushala (restored by our artisans and layered with marodi ka kaam in kasab-dori) and a cotton mul saafa which was hand printed with traditional varq ka kaam.
